1.8 Megawatt Solar Farm in Boulia

Torres & Cape Solar was proud to deliver a 1.8 megawatt solar farm in Boulia, boosting energy supply to one of Queensland’s most remote towns.

By increasing power capacity in isolated areas, Torres & Cape Solar is helping to support local infrastructure, services, and economic opportunities, bringing lasting benefits to communities that need them most. It’s a step towards building a more sustainable, self-sufficient future for outback Queensland.

1.1 Megawatt Solar Farm in Windorah

We delivered a 1.1 megawatt solar installation in Windorah, bringing clean, reliable power to the heart of outback Queensland. With 1,800 solar panels and eight 110kW SMA inverters, this system is built to withstand the tough conditions of the region while maximising energy output.

The Windorah project is part of our ongoing commitment to building a more sustainable future for regional Australia.

4.1 Megawatt Installation in Doomadgee

We delivered a 4.1 megawatt solar installation in Doomadgee. Built for durability and performance in harsh conditions, the Doomadgee solar project supports greater energy independence, long-term cost savings, and improved infrastructure reliability.

Hoppens Floorworld

Hoppens Floorworld Cairns is a family business established in 1974 by Bob and Marina Hoppen and has since been passed onto their son Wayne who has been involved for over 20 years. Wayne’s most memorable job in his time working in the flooring industry was travelling via helicopter to install the flooring on the outer reef pontoons on the Great Barrier Reef. Wayne, his wife Marlene, and the team have decades of experience to assist you with your flooring needs in North Queensland.

Grocery Chain Store Commercial Solar

We have recently completed a 99kW commercial solar system for one of our grocery store chain customers.

We were engaged to thoroughly scope, design and quote a new commercial solar system that will meet the needs of our client and produce an excellent return on investment. Our clients were delighted with the solar install and are very happy with the actual energy production figures of their new system.
